It would have been nice to see a video of the actual light functions before purchasing. The sphere is very pretty even without the light on, but the dimming feature really doesn't do anything and you cannot adjust the speed at which the light cycles through the colors. I would have liked more control over this as it was meant to be a calming light, not a private disco retreat. Bernita O's photo is very accurate of what the globe looks like in regular lighting conditions.
